A lot of hits are generated when doing a refresh structure in the universe

All,

I have created a univese against a BW query.

Everytimes I am trying to do a refresh structure against the universe, it is generating a lot of hits against BW.

I wanted to know if this behaviour is normal or some of the connection settings need to be changed ?

Notes That I am using all the default setting when I create this connection against the BW Query

whats the connection timeout setting you are using ?

Here are all the settings concerning my connection ..

Connection pool mode = Keep the connection active for

Pool timeout = 10 min

Array Fetch size = 10

Array bind size = 5

Login Timeout = 600 min

Hi Philippe,

then you should see one connection overall but yes for sure there are several activities in the connection because the metadata from the BI query is being verified.
