Operation Qty in Recipe

Hi All,

While coping master recipe using template function, the operation Qty is not changed still we changed the Base Quantity. If the operation qty is 20000 and if i change base qty to 10000, it will change qty to operations for which the resorces are not defined to 10000, but it will not change Qty for operations for which resource is associated.

Can anyone let me know, how i can fix this means change operation qty for all operation when change based Qty?

Hi Bhavesh,

Yes Operation qty will not change where operation and phases are already maintain.You will find updated operations qty (as per new Base Qty) from new operations only.And I think the reason behind is quite understable and that is activity times.if there is change in operation qty then it will effect the activity timing also.

Hi Dhaval,

I agreed with you, but my scenario is I created new Recipe and added operation in the recipe without putting std values and the base Qty is 1. Now I need to change base Qty, if i change base qty, it will not change operation qty for maintained operation although the std values are not maintained. it make sense?
