How to change Moving average price in accouting view at valuation cat level

Hi,

We are loading Material Master data for one client. We are using LSMW to load this object

We have uploaded u201CMoving Price (MBEW-VERPR)u201D in Accounting 1 view at valuation category level. Unfortunately incorrect value has been loaded Is it possible to change??

We donot have stock for this materials.

When I tried to do this using MM02, I understand that itu2019s grayed out field and cannot be changed in second attempt.

Let me know if there is any other procedure to handle the situation??

    Hi

    You cannot change the valuation price at valuation category level using MR21/MR22. You can only update the prices at valuation type level only and system calculates the total value at valuation category level depending on stock level.

    CK11n cannot be done for MAP priced materials. It is for internally produced finished goods

    What is the necessary to update the price in material master if there is no stock? When you bring in the stock (valuation type level) then you can see price updation here.

      What I believe is valuation type is V, and it will be updated depending on quantity/ price. As you said there is no stock. When procure the material at valuation type level then that price will be updated at valuation category level (as present stock is zero- value you are maintaining is of no use).

      You can try in MR21 by changing the values of valuation types - but these changes will have no impact at valuation category level as stock is zero. When you bring in stock, then only price gets updated and already wrongly updated price will be erased.

    Hi

    Please use MR21 transaction it will solve your issue since you donot have any stock. Your Query that MR21 is valid for valuated materials, for this please be informed that you can run MR21 for valuated materials also. For valuated materials it will ask additinal field entry valuation type. Please run it in the current period of the material then only you will be able to view the price other wise not.

    Cost running also will update but that is not your current case now, even we do not know whether this material will be having cost run or not.

    You can do it in MR21 or MR22 or goods receipt will change the MAP.

    It is not possible to update the moving price n MR21 or anyothr way..

    For updating you have to run cost...in CK11n..
