Error in Email Alerts: No Delivery as Recepient Unknown

Hi

I've configured Alert Configuration for email with following steps:

1) SMTP is configured.

2) Alert configuration in ALRTCATDEF, Given Fixed Recepient

3) Alert Rule,User with email id and comm. method as Email.

4) Checked email tab in Personalisation.

when i test it by RSALERTTEST, i'm getting message in ALERT INBOX as well as in Email.(receipent is valid...Delivery attempted)

But when i got an error in Moni, i'm getting it in Inbox....but not in Email.

When I checked in SOST...i got the following error...... (No delivery to XXX as recipient unknown.....)

Need Help....

Hi Abhijit,

Check whether the reciepient to whom you are sending exists or not or else check the mail id.

Verifiy that in your user profile(SU3) e-mail field exists or not.

Did you chk the logs SLG1 and also check Routing Test Utility in SMTP configuration option

No error in SLG! and email id is maintained for user.

Routing test is Green.

Following is the log details from SLG1

....Alert is generated on the Central Alert Server

....Recipient from alert category: ABHIJIT

...Delivery by e-mail to ABHIJIT

But Still I'm Getting error in SOST as "No Delivery as Recepient Unknown".

Chk ALRTDISP for queues and clear those queues and rerun the scenario

Hi,

Can you explain how did you solve above problem, i am also getting same error " No delivery as Reciepient unknown ",

I have given maill id in su01, configured scot and smtp . Checked all the options but still i am not able to solve.
