change the Accounting document fields cost center and profit center

Dear Experts,

User has posted document with wrong profit center

For that we subjected that he can go to the profit center actual posting T.Code 9ke0 but with that he can only change the Profit center document with that there is no accounting side updating

I have tried with Document Change Rules, Line Item for fields cost center and profit center in that while configuring I did not get any error message,

But in the document I am unable to changing the same fields cost center and profit center

Can any body please guide me to resolve the issue?

Essentially I want to change the Accounting document fields cost center and profit center

Hi,

Try KB61...enter the accounting document number, company code, fiscal yr and hit execute. Here you can change the Account Assignments.

But in my cause that Accounting document should be change with correct cost center and profit center

Based on that Zreports are showing values wrongly,

Reversing also problem for me because that documents are cleared and i have 27 documents with same scenarios

Hi Vishwanath,

As far as I know, there is no other way than reversing and reposting the documents.

Pls select the wrongly given Cost Object in the credit line item and correct Cost Object in the debit line item..when you repost the document.

Hello,

To avoid further complication, I would suggest you reverse all the accounting documents.

Post the fresh documents with proper cost center / profit center assignments.

There is no way you can change profit centers and cost centers once you have posted the documents. If you change the profit center and cost center on the accounting document, it will invalidate the integrity of the document.

Hey Viswanath,

If you want the Accounting document to also be updated with correct cost center and profit center (from FI side), then you will have to reverse the Accounting Document & repost it with the correct cost center and profit center. I don't think there is any other shortcut to this.

You can not.

Reverse the incorrect document, and post it correctly.
