Shipement type restriction .

Dear Gurus

I have a requirement , As we are using 2 types of shipment types for creating the shipements .

1.For STO 2. Sales My problems is , Some of the user are creating shipments for STO deliverys with Sales shipements type ,here we are getting problems in freight calculations and reports .. Is there any way to restrict this only STO deliverys has to go to STO shipment type Sales also the same.

Hi!

Try with a different shipping point for each kind of delivery, with this go to shipment types and create a selection variant for each shipping point and make it not modificable.

This will allow you to block that a STO delivery can be selected with a shipping type for sales (due to shipping point configuration).

Hi,

As far as I know, this is in standard not possible. You could use an exit and have the system check a custom made table in which you specify the shipment type and allowed delivery types. In that case you could tackle this.
