Inventory Valuation Report

Hi experts,

When I run Inventory Valuation Report, it shows up an error message, "No goods receipts or issues were found for item". what can I do to fix it? does it affect the valuation result? Thanks...

Hi!

The Error Message is poping because, u are running Inventory Valuation Report for a 'No-Transaction Item'.

Test Case :

1. Run the same report for a Item has Transactions.

2. Run the same report for a item has no transactions.

That is not a Error Message, it is a warning message like you are trying to run Valuation Report for a Item which doesn't have Transactions so far.

Are you sure the items you are looking for have Goods Receipts or Issue?

No, I'm not sure. In fact, I didn't input anything in item range. that is, the report will come out all of items.

I know there are many items have no any transaction in my system, but I don't know why I do Inventory Valuation Repoprt showing this error message? or it just warning me?

Does the report stop evaluation once the error happened? or only lose the item's valuation?

Sounds like you are trying to use this report to see total inventory on hand - my understanding is that you would run Inventory Audit report for that purpose.
