WT /487 not Displayed in Payroll Journal Sum Form

Former Member

It has just been brought to light that the withholding wage type /487 is not being processed in the summation form for the payroll journal. The cumulation IDs, windows and fields are set up the same as in the detail form, all are set to read evaluation class 02. The wage type is being displayed in the detail section but not in the sum. I even tried replacing my custom form with the standard SAP form to see if there was anything customized that was overriding the display somehow and the standard form is not showing the detail for the new wage type /487 either.

Before I open an OSS note, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks JLM

Hi JLM,

Please review the information / documentation in the IMG under the path:

-> PY US -> Forms -> Payroll Journal

-> Basic Settings

-> Payroll Journal -> Payroll Journal Settings

-> Define payroll excerpt

-> Define totals display

If your intention is to print any wage type in the totals of form 'ZXXX' (summary) it will be a prerequisit to code it before in the cumulation ID '****' of form ZXXX (detail).

You can do this in transaction PE51.

Please note that only those wagetype which are associated to the cumulation ID '****' of the detail form would be transferred to the total page.

To be available in your total form, please add this wagetype to the cumulation id '****' of your custom form which is the detail form you are using in this case.

Hope this information helps!

Daniela.
