Hi,
I need to create a role Solution Manager
ZSAP_CHARM_DIS : means read access to all Change Requests
Kindly provide me the steps to create the roles

Use SAP_SOCM_DISPLAY as a template and remove the transacton types you do not need.
(For instance remove all but SDCR - Change Request)
This should yield a useful result quite quick.

If i am creating a new role without any template or existing profie, wat are steps to be carried out
a) get a user with SAP_ALL authorization, switch on auth. trace in tx: ST01 and perform all the transactions/steps you want the user to be able to do.
b) get a user without any auth. and use tx: SU53 to get the auth. objects you need.
I would prefer using the given template or choice a).
