Hi Experts,

I am doing a stock posting after loading item quantities from DTW fora particular warehouse.I press update quantities and then press reconcile button. The system gives error message 'Date Deviates from due date range, 500183'.

I have GL accounts determined for warehouses and my 500183 is the inventory account for this warehouse.

Please enlightem me on what could be the problem ?

ASAP

Due date for the posting period is from 1/04/09 to 31/03/10

Since you doc series is associated with current period via period indicator, you can only DTW the data with due date allowed by the current period definition. Check it out.

My current period as well as the previous period have the same period indicator as default. The system does not allow to change the period indicator of the previous period.I suppose it is taking the due date of the previous period. Is there a way to change priod indicator of previous period ?

Hi,

Once you have changed the Due dates in the Posting period ....You may like to log off from SAP and log back in again and try and post.

You don't need to change indicator but chane period definition for due date. Open posting periods - click on the current period - change the due date from and to.
