custom or z field to be added in tcode F-02

Hi Everyone,

My client has a requiremnt to add a custom or z field to be added in tcode F-02 is there any user exit or badi to help or any alternative.

hi

take the help of the abaper to add the field in BSEG and include the same in coding block

but it is better use any free fields in F-02 to accomodate your data

can u explain the requirement in details..if at all a new field is created what input is it going to have?

as for now, as I understand the client needs just one field where he can identify FBT, which as per me can be taken care by using text fields.

What will be the use for that Z field, whats the client's requirement? what does he plan to enter so that he needs the Z field? the reason is, if he's just planning to add text or something, there are fields in F-02 to take of this

He wants to add Fringe benefit tax atracted expenses in that field.

Your client requirement is appreciated.

But, I would suggest not to change the F-02. If client would like to enter any further data I would suggest to enter the same in the long text.

Still, if the client is not interested to enter in long text, please check with your ABAPer to accommodate this.

Text fields is already being used for some other details
