A MASTER RECORD EXISTS IN 2008

Dear gurus,

During confirmation of production order, following message occurs,

As the financial year is changed,

A master record for tool/machine exists in 2008 only.

What will be necessary steps.

You need to maintain the activity price using transaction KP26 for the period 01 to 12 for year 2009 for the Version "0" Cost center and Activity type combination.

You can find the details of the cost center and activity type in the error message itself.

Hi,

There is option for last fiscal year 2008 from period 1 to 12. I have to copy such activity rates from last fiscal year to current fiscal year .

How one could copy?

I have update the activity types for labor, Tools,inspection manually. Is it confirm that there is no option to copy such activity types ?

Hi,

You need to extend the Validity dates of Activity prices for the Activity for the fisical year 2009. Goto Tcode ; KP26 and enter the following :

Verison : (select the appropriate version)

From Period : 01

To Period : 12

Fisical Year : 2009

Cost Center : " XXXXXXX " (Enter the cost center from the error message displayed during the confimation)

Activity Type : " YYYYY" (Enter the cost center from the error message displayed during the confimation)

Pre-requsite : Check whether the Activity Type is valid from XX-XX-XXXX to 31-12-9999 otherwise you need to extended the same in tcode : KL01 /KL02.

Hi,

I have updated validity period for activity types. I have querry regarding with copying of activity rates from last fiscal year to new fiscal year. I have about 76 cost centers to be updated into KP26.

I f there is any T code available , so that activity rates can easily copy from last fiscal year.

Dear,

Please ensure that the price is maintained for the activity type Machine Tool in Cost Center XXXX in KP26 for the period in which you are doing confirmations.If its maintained only upto 2009 , define it for all periods 1 to 12 for the fiscal yr 2008 & 2009.
