Dear Kumar,
Scheduling agreement:An outline agreement against which materials are procured at a series of
predefined points in time over a certain period.
For this you have to first use ME31N for creating scheduling agreement and then ME38 for
maintaining scheduling agreemnet schedule.
Moreover you have to use value 3 for delivery schedule line which is one of the MRP control parameter
while taking MRP run.
So for the materials for which scheduling agreement exists, shcedule lines will be generated.

Hi,
A source list has to be maintained against the material and plant for each vendor for whom you have to make schedule agreement. You have to select in the MRP column -2 - Record relevant to MRP. schedule line generate automatically.
Then you maintain sheduling agreement in ME31L
Finally use ME38.
Try for one material and let me know the result

Dear,
Scheduling Agreement: An agreement between two parties that outlines when a particular product or service is to be delivered. A scheduling agreement is related to, but not the same as, a contract. A contract generally contains price and quantity information. The related transcations are:
Create Scheduling Agreement: ME31L
Scheduling Agreement: ME38
Receive the Goods:MIGO
You can create it from ME38, can display it from ME39 and can print it from ME9E...
You can also get it auto generated via MRP...Make the schedule agreement as source relevent in the source list and use the MRP indicator as "3"...so that when ever the system will run MRP, the del. schedule will get generated...You can see it from MD04, MD05, MD06....

Hi,
Scheduling agreement : It's a form of agreement with the supplier to supply on predetermined dates with a certain time period
Schedule line: Schedule lines are generated, when you run MRP, based on which the Purchase Order is made.
This schedule lines are generated only when you have activated the MRP indicator while creating Schduling agreement. Also, select , create schedule line in the initial screen of MRP run
Also, pl. refer the following link for details on Scheduing agreement
