Indexing stopped working

Our portal Basis team recently moved the location of the portal SQL Server database to another physical SQL Server box. Since then, indexing of my repositories no longer works. This applies to indexing both CM and web repositories.

When I give the portal the command to rebuild the index, the Index Administration screen says 'Reindexing is in progress'. When I look at TREX Monitor, the 'Time Stamp' has been updated to the current date and time, but the numbers in the queue status columns never change from '0' (zero). Also, I have my crawler parameters set up to create log files, but the log files never get created.

I have looked at the java trace files and do not see anything that looks relevant to the problem that I'm having.

I'm thinking that somewhere we need to tell TREX where the new location of the database is. Can anyone verify for me that this is the case, and if so, how do we do that?
