Error when Consuming Service in ABAP

Dear all,

When i am trying to consume a Portal service in an ABAP program in ECC6 i am getting the error "SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 400 : Bad Request")".

Any idea why i am getting this error?

Is there any document available giving more details of system errors when consuming a web service?
