How to Extend BOL/Genil Layers

Hi Gurus -

I was just working around Web UI by customizing the std screens. I was just curious on adding new fields to BOL and Genil Layer.

Have u guys worked on extending BOL layers, It will be nice if you guys post some useful docs for newbie like me to gain good knowledge on customizing Web UI.

Hi,

I am aware of IBOM concept in Marketing area to enhance BOL Layer.

But not sure how the same is done in other areas.

Some other ways are to find the underlying structure and include the required fields and generate the getter and setter methods. Check this too.

For a really general question like this I would use the forum search.

Recently I answered a question about how to implement a GenIL component.

Enhancements via EEWB haven been discussed several times already.

Enhancing the BOL and GenIL for the BP or BT searches come up very often recently.
