hi
this could be a bit of a vague question...but i would like to know if anyone encounters the same issue.
we have a 25 user license system...with around 10 users accessing the system remotely. we have seen that for users who have clients running on their machines, SAP is a bit slow. not very slow...but sometimes it takes a few additional seconds to perform an action. and if anyone enters a large order..with 50 items plus...it slows down everyone's system.
is this normal behaviour? what should i be checking for? we run on windows server 2003 and the server has a 8gb ram. (so we can increase ram either.)
or should we look at a solution like citrix which lets us access the application through a browser? do let me know your thoughts.
thanks!
perm
That is not normal. You have to troubleshoot it starting with licensing server and server error log if any.

I don't think Citrix would be much faster than Remote Desktop. Since you have 10 users connected remotely, your speed looks normal to me. You need to remind users to log out more often when they are not using B1 for a long time such as 20 minutes. Or you could set up group policy to disconnect such user connections.

What remote connection tools are you using now?
