Cannot delete reservations

Hi

I have a number of reservations and when I try to delete them (transaction MB22) I get the error message:

"Reservation created automatically. No manual changes possible"

Now, how can I delete this reservation? It is from the year 2005 so it just has to be deleted.

I am trying to find the material document for this reservation, but when I go into transaction MB23 and then "Environment"->"Materials document for material" there is no matching material document....so does anyone know how I can find the material docuemnt for a reservation? Or how I just can delete the reservation?

Hi,

Reservations never originate from material document in standard system...

Automatically created reservations can come e.g. from PrdOrd, project. Please check MD04 for the material of which reservation you speak about. When you double click on the MRP elemnt (reservation) you can use pegging to see from where it comes.

If it comes fom a PrdOrd you have to set the status of the order to TECO (e.g. in CO02) and hopefully your resrvation disappears.

So, please understand that automatically created resrvations cannot be deleted directly, you have to eliminate the reason of existance of those reservation.

MBVR is the tcode to manage reservation. Here we can delete the old reservation by selecting the delete/set deltion indicator.

Reservations that are created with date less than the date entered in MBVR will be selected for deletion.
