Order priorities in Maintenance Plans

Hello:

I'm using a priority in a maintenance plan item. The plan is single cicle.

The priority is monthly, that means that the end date of the order should be 1 month after the initial.

I create the order manually, and the priority works well. But when the orders are created by the plan, both initial and finish dates are the same.

The item of the plan doesn't have a task list. The scenario is to create the order without any planned activity. It will be fulfilled by the legacy using an interface.

I've already set the parameter in OPU7 so the basic dates should not be changed.

I just dont know what may be happenning.

Does anybody have an idea ??

Hi

When you are creating a schedule on same day & run the cycle it will have same day.

Use completion indicator in Maintainace plan

As per my understanding;

When you are not doing Scheduling Automatically ,

1.Create a Task list in IA01/IA05 with Inspection points (Plant maint type)

2.Maint ain a char & assign sampling procedure with Plant maint.

3.assign task list to equipment in IP01.

4.Maintain work center without any capacity & all.

5.Assign same in IP01.

Maintain start of date in ip01.

6.Then tyr to run the cycle for one month through IP30.

It will work.

hi luis,

i could not give you a complete solution but my observation was .. order prioirty works when it is entered in the intial screen of IW31 only .. and if it is left in initial screen and entered in the inside screen then it doesnt work .. again .. if u give prioirty it is just works as information purpose and does not have any basic order date influence ... so i think the data from MP is passed on to the inside screen of IW31 ... thus prioirty is not influencing the basic dates of MO ... and the same case happens when MO is created from IW21/IW22 screen ..
