Hiring of Contract Employee

Hi all,

If i hav 2 hire an employee on contract period say for suppose 2 years from 2009 to 2011 and after 2 years if his contract may or may get extended den wat shd i do in dis case.

Bz wen m hiring dis employee in PA40 n giving the start date as 01.01.2009 to end date as 31.12.2011 its saying me to terminate the employee but i dnt want tht.
