How to delete Tax codes?

HI,

I need to delete the existing tax codes as it is giving the errors because of tax jurisdiction code.Initially i have created the tax jurisdiction codes with 9 digits and later changed to 10 Digits.So that it is giving the error.

kindly adivce me how to delete the tax codes,so that later i can created them to fix my issue.

Goto transaction OBC7, select the tax code and delete.

I wanted to delete the tax codes which we create in FTXP not withholding tax codes.

Goto Table T007A. Select the entries and delete.

Please note thet the old codes with the old tax rates must remain in the system until no more open items which use this tax code exist
