Earlier i have upto 1 lakhs rows and columns in excel 2005 for BEX, later after installing excel 2007 it has got limitation upto 75,000. So how can i eliminate those limiatations in the BEx analyzer. Its not problem with excel upgradation as my microsoft support person said its not problem with excel. I thnk it could be with BEx. Could any one suggest me on this. Thanks in Advance..
The limitation in BEx is due to the fact that nto all people within the company will have Excel 2007 since it is assumed that the current enterprise version is Excel 2003.
Scenario : lets assume for a moment that BEx supports 1 million rows ..
Due to this a person may create a workbook with 1 million rows and then someone else is not able to open the same because of the fact that it is created in Excel 2007 and not Excel 2003...
To avoid this scenario BEx supports 65000 rows at present....
if you want to import 1 million rows - run the query on the web and then export the same in a CSV / Excel and open the same using Excel 2007....

Hi,
I think problem is not BEx because excel limit is the Bex limit.

Hi Srikar,
Excel 2007 supports more than 10 lakh rows and so does Bex analyser. Can you please check below two links. This will help you to understand how many rowsand columns excel supports.
