filter item dropdown box_1 specified an invalid characteristic - WAD

Hi,

A couple of the users have reported the following error message when accessing reports and charts in the portal. The user is using the drop down filter, to filter by plant and is getting the following error message 'filter item dropdown box_1 specified an invalid characteristic'. This problem arises at different time intervals to different users. Security team has pointed out that it is not a security issue. Let me know the resolution, if you have already encountered it.
