Material Document Plant wise

Hello,

I want to create GRN numbers seperately to get generated for two different plants.But however Standard SAP does allow us to do so.

Can anyone please help me to find a solution for creating Material Dcoument number range Plant wise.

Is there any User Exit available.If yes, can you please let me know logic and the ABAP coding for the same.

Hi,

Its possible by only user exit.

So we have to maintain a table with plant,mov type, and s.loc and N.R.

Number ranges for material documents are assigned by transaction event keys. So there can be only one number range for WE type document and it cannot differentiated at plant level.

There is a standard configuration at Plant level to differentiate GRs & GIs by way of GR/GI slips, since this is plant I suppose you can use this functionality to achieve your requirement instead looking at number ranges. Work with your MM functional consultant to explore this options further

hi,

u cannt have the diff material document no ranges plant wise.

but u can have the GR/IR slip no plant wise.check it if it is useful for ur requirement.
