Can anybody please let us know the reason for this error.

Thanks in advance.

Check the name of the certificate you provided in the communication channel. Check it with the entry in visual admin. The name should be same. Also dont provide extensions in name of the certificate.

look at this info from the seeburger AS2 giude;

Outbound: MIC not verified # authentication-failed
Cause: A trading partner only accepts signed messages (In a SEEBURGER component this option can be enabled/disabled with the u201CAuthentication requiredu201D flag).
Solution - Check the channel configuration and enable the signing flag. - Check the signing certificate.

Outbound: MIC not verified # authentication-failed, processing continued
Cause: An incorrect signing certificate was used, but the trading partner continued with the processing, because it doesnu2019t matter, if the message is authenticated, or not.
Solution: Check the signing certificate configuration.

Hi Shabarish & Prateek,

Thanks a lot for the information.

I've also checked this information in Seeburger document and I agree this can be an issue with the Certificate.

But these scenarios were working fine for a long time, the Certificates are valid till 2016.

And the most important thing is,we get this error in 1 message out of 100-200,other messages are sent successfully.

So,if this is an issue with certificate, how is it possible that it affects only 1-2 messages not all.

I had never seen this error before and suddenly we have started getting such errors for a number of scenarios for last 15 days.

I believe ,there can be a problem with Certificate for 1 customer but if it is more than one ,it is hard to believe that all of them have problems with Certificates and at the same time.

I tried to search for notes related to this problem.

Is it something related to MIME content,as mentioned in note 1287778?

Kindly let me know.

Thanks.

Shweta

dont think its an issue with the mime. if that was so the error message would have mentioned it was related to MIME. your error point directly to MIC

Hi Shabarish,

I fully agree with you.

But then how should I go about this issue?

Thanks.

HI,

This is an update for error:

MIC not verified # MIC values not verified sha1-null

Partner says that for these failed messages, message was signed but certificate was missing in the signature of this messgae.

How is that possible that 80 messages have certificate in their signature only this message is missing certificate in the signature when we have a common configuration for all.

Can anybody reply to this thread?

Thanks.

Regards,

Shweta
