Error durin costin run

Dear Experts,

While running costing run , sytem is displaying error message that some materials are flagged for deletion and unable to complete the third step of the costing run . Is it possible to filter those components with deletion indicator to avoid this struck up or any other means?

Hi,

When you create the selection list, use the dynamic selection parameters. Under 'Material Data for Valuation' you will see a field 'Del. Flag Val. Type'. Try using this.

Else if you have the list of materials then use the field 'Material' under Generated Table for View MACKW to exclude such materials.

Hi,

In CK40N, in the selection step, go to dynamic selections, select DF indicator for client or plant as the case may be, maintain value != 'X' and then execute.

This error If I am not wrong Should be CK310 or CK054

if theese are the errrors then they should by standard be warning messages, but they have been customised by your master data or the costing team to be errors. This should have been done on purpose. If you want to change go to the error management button in the error screen and change it to a warning.

If that has to be an error contact your master data team or remove the deletion flag in the material master

How to change Error management like error to warning like that, Could you please let me know the Path?

and @ thread starter, the one of the way is to make Material Type as Obsolete ,or make it as irrelevant for Costing,

Experts Please correct me If I am wrong.

Hi!

all the above are possible solutions. you can adopt, as per your requirement.

the path for change of message control is : controlling->general controlling->change message control ( tcode OBA5).

enter application area as CK and then message number and for warning W, for information I, you have to maitnainn.

for all deleted flag material , select check donot cost check box in material masters.
