EP / J2EE Useradmin logon error

In the J2EE Useradmin / EP logon screen, after entering valid user ID & password we are getting the same login page with the User ID field and password field empty, without showing any error messages.

If we enter incorrect user ID or password it says "user authentication failed".

This is happening for all user IDs (even for super administrator).

If we enter the same user ID and password for 3 times the user account gets locked as expected.

We are able login to the Visual administrator.

I got the following message in defaultTrace file.

Please help to solve this problem.

Hi,

Check the expiry date of your portal certifcate in 'Strustsso2' I think this might be due to the expired portal certificate. If the certificate date is expired then you need to delete the certificates in the portal and then recreate it and re import in the backend system.

Did u set the language for the user with which you are trying to login.Plz check whether you have selected the language for the user or not in UME.After selecting the user plz try to login .You will be able to login then.

But can you please tell me which logon module I need to adjust, as there are many logon modules. I am getting this error for following URL.

this adjustment will efect both the URLs

please go through the url

log into visual admin goto server ->service ->Security Provider ->Policy Configuration

see below are in this sequence

Login Modules Flag

EvaluateTicketLoginModule SUFFICIENT

BasicPasswordLoginModule REQUISITE

CreateTicketLoginModule OPTIONAL
