Dear SAP Gurus,

When I execute the transaction "sxmb_ifr" I get the following Error .

1 >> http://dqxicom5702.timesgroup.com:50000/rep/start/index.jsp

Application not found.

2>> E3: unable to start child process

Executable file name 'http://dqxicom5702.timesgroup.com:50000/rep/start/index.jsp'

Windows NT error 5: DLL or net access .

When I try to login directly through URL it is successful.

The transaction works fine when I execute it from my colleague's terminal.

Plz help me in solving the issue.

Regards,

Ashish .A. Poojary

Madhu,

The user which I'm using to execute the transaction "sxmb_ifr" contains SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile.

So theoretically or for that matter practically speaking there should not be any problem with user authorization.

PS : But the error which I mentioned above , it says NT Error Code 5 which after a bit of RnD , i found out is related to user authorization .

But then i can access the Transaction with the same user id on my colleague's terminal.

Sachin ,

I've compared the host files.

There seems to be no difference with the hosts file.

Hi Ashish,

It might be a problem of full qualified domain name:

Compare the host name with your collegue's system...

it should be like...dqxicom5702.timesgroup.com (as you mentioned)

Hi,

If your system is a Windows system, in c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc folder, there will be a hosts file......open it in notepad and add your XI IP address and XI host name in it separated by tab and save it..........close your internet explorer window and re-run SXMB_IFR from your machine after logging into XI.

Dear Rajeev ,

The entry of XI hostname and IP address is already there in the hosts file.

Hi,

Okay.......install JAVA web start in your machine and have JDK 1.4 in your machine......then try to run SXMB_IFR again from your machine.
