MM17 - restrict access to MRP views

Hi,

Would just like to ask if it is possible to restrict access in MM17, such that only MRP views can be changed?

I've tried restricting M_MATE_STA = D, so that only MRP views can be changed.

However, with this initial authorization setup, the system keeps on asking for access to the other material master views (G, B, and so on) until all status has been given access.

Is there any way to do this?

Hello Armie,

Unfortunately it's not possible to give a user only authorization for mass changes for a special view. The mass maintenance tool is a general cross-application tool, which allows you to change several objects at the same time. To find the relevant objects, the System searches for all data objects, which fit your selection criteria. To assure full flexibility, you have access to all data elements of the relevant

database tables as selection fields. It's also not possible to make special selection fields mandatory !
