Is it Necessary to delete data in ADSO/Cube whenever it is enhanced in BW on HANA

Hi Everybody,

We have recently migrated to BW 7.5 and we are facing new issues everyday. Today when i tried to enhance a standard ADSO to add new fields (Not a Key field) and when I tried to activate the ADSO its giving error and it gets activated only when data in ADSO is dropped. Similar issue is faced while enhancing cube.

Is it the standard procedure followed everywhere? Is there a workaround to enhance ADSO and Cube without deleting the data.

Your inputs will be of great help as its impossible to delete the data for every enhancement we make.

When you try to activate a ADSO/enhance a cube, what is the error message you see?
