Hi Gurus
Iam using Make to stock gross requirement strategy.
I have created planned independent requirement in MD61. Also created material Bom
It created planned order, I can see BOM in planned order.
When I convert it into production order then it did not copy bom automatically.
Bom component cannot be seen in production order and I got information message -- BOM for planned order 999419934 not valid for orders
When I did reread masterdata then all Bom components can be seen in component list.
Why bom is not copied automaticslly when i first time try to convert from production order.
Hi,
Check your BOM validity and BOM usage. The reason could be the BOM may not be valid for that day. That could be the reason it has not copied.

Hi Suresh
Bom Validity is ok. My problem is that when i try to convert from planned order to production order then BOM is not copied automatically and at the same time when I press Reread masterdata ( Without changing any dates )then bom appears in component list in production order.
My question is why bom is not transferred automatically when planned order is converted into production order.

Net requirement ( 10)---
When stategy 10 is used then same bom gets copied automatically when planned order is converted into production order.
Is this issue related to gross strategy
