Missing JCo connection for ESS

All,

I deployed business packages for ESS and MSS, and also deployed the Web Dynpro content for these.

At portal I can also see End User Content having ess related content.

When I go to Web Dynpro > Maintain JCo destinations, I can see all the connections except the one for SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData.

I can see all these

SAP_R3_Financials

SAP_R3_Financials_MetaData

SAP_R3_HumanResources

SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaData

SAP_R3_Travel

But only SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData is missing.

What might me the reason for this?

Did you get the solution? i also faced the same issue in portal.

actually in that case both modeldata and metada JCOs were not available when i checked with the "Maintain JCO Destinations". when i selected the perticular application of ESS, it showed me the JCOs related to it.

Can you please elaborate on your issue.

Hello,

You may manually try to create the missing SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData destination for your solution. Usually those destinations need to be manually created.
