Delivery Reversal in WM

Former Member

Dear All,

Whats the process flow for Delivery reversal in WM.

As per the help.sap documentation, I did the following steps.

1. Cancelled/Reversed Delivery in IM using VL09.

2. LT0G - Return Transfer for Outbound Delivery.

I hope if we use the Return to stock option in LT0G then the reversed Stock Qty will be moved to the same Storage bin from which it was removed at the time of picking.

But when I try the above step in system I am getting the following error message.

Enter the Storage unit type.

Kindly advise how to resolve this ?

Regards,

Is it error message L3043?

Maybe palletization data is not maintained on WM2 view of material master - please define it.

e.g.

LE quantity; Un; SUT

10; pc; BOX

Hi Csaba,

Thanks a lot for the response.

Can you please mention what are settings reqd in WM incase of Delivery Reversal ?

because I have 2 issues now..

1. Even after cancelling the delivery using VL09, the qty reversed is not displayed as available stock when I execute LT0G.

2. System is displaying the status as locked for one of the bin & there is no available stock in LT0G.

Note: In the 2nd scenario, stock was removed from multiple bins using TO's.

My requirement is to return the stock to the same bin from which it was removed using LT0G.

Hope my query is clear.

Hi Csaba,

Please note that even I tried by manually entering the value in the available stock field in LT0G, but system is displaying the following error message

Enter the storage unit type

Message no. L3043

Note : I have already maintained the Palletization data in WM 2 view in Material master.

Hi,

My requirement is to return the stock back to the same bin from which it was removed using the Return to Stock option.

So my return storage type is the same from which stock was removed.

Also SUT is active & I have maintained the palletization data in Material Master.

Note:

Since I am using the Return to Stock option in LT0G I dont make any entries in LT0G regarding SUT.

So please advise.

Hi,

LT0G is a very troublesome trx in SAP. Many OSS notes are about it, please search for them... (one problem might be e.g. if your material have stock determination group in plant data 1 view of material master - in this case LT0G won't work as default, so this isn't an error.)

Hi,

forward flow:

1) When u carry out picking by creating a TO , system moves the stock to 916 storage type.

2) Next, when u do PGI the material goes off from 916 and issue to customer.

Reverse:

1) Execute VL09 to reverse the PGI, stock sits back in 916.

2) Now, if u are having issue with LT0g.

Then carry out LT01 with mov type 999 and manually mention the source and destination storage bins.

Hre source storage bin wil be of storage type 916.

Dear Vineet,

Thanks a lot for the response.

I agree that using LT01 we can create a TO by specifying the source & destn bins.

But my requirement is to return the stock using LT0G after cancelling/reversing a delivery doc using VL09.

when I try this I am facing 2 errors.

1. System is showing an error message to enter the storage unit type (Note - I have already maintained the same in my material master)

2. Even after reversing the delivery using VL09, when I do LT0G there is no quantity shown in the available stock field. Hence I am not able to process the document.

Hope its clear.

Dear Csaba,

Please note that I am using the ECC 5.0 version.

As per your above suggestions I have checked the following notes which are related to the above mentioned issues

400764

318529

535803

But all the above notes are valid upto release 4.7.

If you can suggest some Valid SAP notes for the above issues, it will be very helpful.

Appreciate your continous support.

Thanks & Regards,
