Cannot process message, no route -Message no. XS826

Hello,

I was trying to send BW report from EP to BW Inbox via send option in BW iView..

But for some users i'm getting following error message:

*Cannot process message, no route from 11001844 to neha.garg*

Message no. XS826

Diagnosis

To continue processing, the system requires a valid route from sender 11001844 to recipient neha.garg(type INT).

System Response

The action was terminated.

Error occurred in SAP in SAPconnect

Procedure

If this error was generated within the SAP system by SAPconnect, you have the following options:

Create a route (i.e. assign a suitable address area, which covers the above address, to a node).

1. Check whether the route exists, but the node to which it is assigned is not in operation. If this is the case, change the route or put the node into operation.

2. Change the recipient address if it has been entered incorrectly.

If the error was detected outside of the SAP system, please read the operator's manual for your communication software or contact the manufacturer.

What does this mean & how to rsolve it??? Is there some thing wrong with EP, BW or BASIS??

Also we are not configuring SMTP as we need not to send anything to external addres..we are only sending BW reports internally..i.e. from one SAP logon ID to another SAP logon ID.

Hi,

your recipient type (int) is the false one for internal messaging. INT means the internet mail adresse. How do you send your message?

Hi Polina,

I'm sending Internal mail i.e. scheduling BW report from EP which recipient will receive in its BW inbox.

Hi,

did I understand it correct - in sm36 (define jobs) you have choose in the selection under 'spool list recipient' 'internal user', put the user id in the 'find' field and mark 'copy' as general attribute. Or was the way another one?

Polina,

I'm not scheduling reports via sm36. Rather I've created BW report iViews in Enterprise Portal & from there I'm scheduling those iViews which contain BW reports. User will receive those scheduled reports in his BW Inbox.
