BOM Component in PO document item detail is missing

Dear expert,

Anyone can help me why the BOM component icon in PO (ME23N) item detail is missing? the material is a subcon, but when I create PO for that material, I cannot see the BOM component icon. I check the BOM material ( CS03), it seems ok.

what should I do?

Best regard

Pauline

    Hi,

Have you maintained Item category as "L" in PO ?

    Hi,

The BOM in question should be valid for that plant on the delivery date of the material in PO.

Also ensure that the BOM is maintained for usage type 'PROD' and Procurement type is correctly maintained in MRP view of Material Master.

Also click on 'Explode BOM' while creating PO.

Hope this will resolve you issue

    Regards

I have checked all the initial settings, and it's correct, and similar with your suggestion

But still I couldn't found out the component BoM in item detail.

I have tried to change the PO document by creating the same material just below the old material. but no component appeared.

But when I create the New PO I put the same material, I can see the component BOM.

Why is it like that? anything I miss out?

      Best Regard,

      Pauline
