Hi all

I got the following Error when Clicking on the link Functional location in Notification Management for Notfication associated to Functioanal Category 'ARRE' in MI client.

Failed calling event handler_InvocationTargetException_ onLoad in m.sap.mbs.mam.techobj.control.FunclocDetail.

Component: notification

View: com.sap.mbs.mam.notification.control.NotificationList

Event: onShowFuncLocDetail

Error Code: E503

Error Message: com.sap.mbs.core.api.CAFException

1. I am getting this error only if functional location associated to funcational category 'ARRE'' and works good for other Functional Categories.

2. We are getting the above error excpet for one user 'ENR'.

3. It works fine for all other Functional Location's associated categories.

3. We Copied the profiles of 'ENR' to new users.

Since it works for one particular user let me know there is any user specific configuration in Middleware/Backend other than Configure User-Dependant Data in R/3 backend spro.

Kindly help me

Thanks

Hi Senthil,

The error is coming maybe because the functional location 'ARRE' is not downloaded to the client. Please check the Functional Location bapi wrapper for syncBO MAM30_030 in R/3 execute it and check whether all the desired functional locations are coming. If they are not then there is a problem in the variant which you have set in SPRO MAM configuration for Functional location(Master Data). Execute it and check whether 'ARRE' is coming or not.

Dont forget to replicate the syncBO's for any changes done in the backend for MAM30_090,MAM30_095 and MAM30_030.

You can also check in MEREP_MON logs, whether the MAM30_030 is giving any error or warning message. Sometimes due to the cascade relationships between the syncbo's it generates an warning message and not an error message, but the data doesnt get downloaded on to the client.

One more thing, after you copied the profile of user 'ENR' to other users, did u replicate the relevant syncbo's, synchronize the client and check.

Hope this helps!

Regards

Priya
