Installation NetWeaver 7.0 (N4s): license key length is wrong!

Hi all,

I have installed SAP Netweaver 7.0(2004s) on LINUX (Centos5).

I work on X86_64 architecture.

I have a problem with SAP sneak preview license key.

Infact, when i use installation of file from shell:

saplicense -install ifile=/.../N4S.txt

the installation ends with error on License Key... all fields are ok except License Key.

If i use manual installation of license from shell:

saplicense -install

Precess of installation is blocked on License Key Length.. The process wants a license key with 24 characters, but my License Key is similar at this:

Detail: I work on X86 64bit i don't have SAPGUI therefore i cannot use SLICENSE transaction...

You can install a 32bit SAPGUI (Java) with a 32bit Java SDK.

New licenses can't be installed with the command line tool.

Yes i've resolved this problem, TNX.. 😜

I've some problems and the i will test to insert license key via SLICENSE transaction and close the 3d ..

I've resolved using transaction SLICENSE from SAP GUI.

I think Netwaver license cannot be install through OS level, but not sure. Another alternative you can access this server from any GUI and install the license from SLICENSE

Hi,

You can login by SAP* in 000 client without license. goto transaction slicense

click on new licenses

click on install license

give path of license.txt file.

It will install the new license.
