Hello!
I like to ask if you have the requirement to use Fuzzy Search in CRM.
If you use the Account Search to find an Account or Contact it is good to know the Name or Address of the Account. However itu2019s not always that clear if you search for City u201CLos Angelosu201D or u201CLos Angelesu201D, if the Name was Aerosmith or Aerosmif.
Now there is a note available, which can help you implementing Fuzzy Search in Web UI.
Itu2019s note: [1314792|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1314792]
Best regards
Arno
You have to first enable TREX Based Search for which you need to have TREX Installation.
You can refer to the CRM interaction Center Building Blocks Library for Configuring TREX and Activating BP/Contact Search . We have done that .
Now Fuzzy search is already available with Knowledge Search in CRM 5.0 .
I believe the Note tells to activate Fuzzy Search for BP/Contacts .

Hello Arno,
we are already on SAPKU70005. - So the fuzzy-search already should be activated?
We have connected the TREX and the duplicate search works fine.
The steps from note 1314792 are done but I got no results if I search with fuzzy-search.
Did I forgot something? Is the another customizing needed?
Best regards
Danny
Hello Arno,
this post is quiet old, but I hope you still remember of your setup 🙂
We are on CRM 7 EhP1 SP06. So already I can see the attribute "Flag set or not set" which is the FUZZY_SEARCH in the BP_HEAD_SEARCH component:
As soon as I choose this attribute in the WebUI Account search, the line with this attribute disappears. We have already TREX connected ans the simple search works for Accounts.
Could you maybe help?
I saw some screenshots with a fuzzy search as radio buttons. Is this also possible in CRM?
Regards

Hello Mr. Rashidi,
if the error still persists please have a look at knowledge article 1710840 - Fuzzy Search in EHP1.
There it is explained that with EHP1 fuzzy will be displayed as radio button.
For this some things need to be configured described in the article.
Kind regards
