I am running Crystal Reports XI (Developer Edition) and 9 days ago, when opening the application, I got an Install Shield popup for "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 updates." It had attached the "Crystal Reports XI Release 2 - Service Pack 2" for me to install. When I went to install it, it failed, stating that I must first install BusinessObjects XI Release 2 - Service Pack 1.
I have gone to the Support/Downloads section to locate the Service Pack 1. I have tried three different dowloads, to only be informed that those updates already exist on my computer. But whenever I try to install the Service Pack 2, it still fails.
I am extremely frustrated and discouraged because when I attempt to run a report (one that involves millions of records), Crystal Reports crashes. This did not start happening until after the Install Shield indicated that I needed to install Crystal Reports XI Release 2 - Service Pack 2.
I really do not want to spend another day trying to troubleshoot this problem. I just want to run my reports. Can you please help?
