Synchronous XI Interface - Guidelines for Response Time

I Am trying to build a synchronous Interface in XI, which Has a response time of 15s and the returning file size of almost 1MB.

Could you please suggest me what are the guidelines suggested for Synchronous Interfaces. i.e. What should be the ideal payload and response time etc. we should be trying for.

    Hi,

    I suggest you to post this question on Process Integration forum, and give more detail about the communication parts (SOAP-> RFC, RFC->RFC, FILE->RFC) and so.
