wrong absence quota generation

HI

wen m generating quota for 6 months then its giving me wrong value.

i hav gave an EL as 30 and for half year its giving 14,8775

Hi,

Check with the rounding rule you are using.

Pro rata generation genrally gives such values.

Hi,

Under the node Define Counting Rule, there is a sub node to define the Rounding rules.

Give a rule no. say 99.

Seq. number 001

Lower limit 0.0

Inclusive unchecked

Upper limit 0.5

Inclusive checked

target 0.5

Roll checked

Rule 99

Seq. number 002

Lower limit 0.5

Inclusive unchecked

Upper limit 1.0

Inclusive checked

target 1.0

Roll checked

What this rule will do is round values between 0 n 0.5 to 0.5 and over 0.5 to 1.0 to 1.0

Roll will indicate this rule will roll over for further intervals.

Use F1 help.

So when ur accrual comes to 14.8775 it will apply rule 99 seq 002 and round it to 15.

Attach this rounding rule to your counting rule.

I hav entitled 8 CL for a year but wen m generating it for 7 months its genarating 7 Absences

Hi,

Check PT50 transaction to see how much quota is being calculated per day/ month. Probably would be able to find out from that what is going wrong.

Jus check in PT50 whether the rounding is correct.

I think dere is sme prob with my check boxes which v hav 2 assign in lower limit, upper limit, target value in rounding rule's screen.

Tell me how to check these

Even i dnt know how to check rounding in PT50
