Hi All,
I am new to SD.
How do you email a sales quotation to a customer? I am used to emailing a purchase order to the vendor, but I can't find the same functionality for the sales quote.
Please provide instructions on how to do so.
Thanks.
Hi,
You can use output type to send an quotation email to customer.
Details configuration can be done in the following path:
IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output Control -> Output Determination -> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents.
Cheers,

Thank you Ed.
I have set up the output determination as described by yourself above.
I've created a sales quote, but i still can't see anywhere for me to specify that I want to email this to the customer. Normally in a purchase order, there is a MESSAGES button and here you can decide to email or print or fax etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Hi,
In SD the output determination follows the Condition technique.
5 step is there in this i think you are familiar.
1,Condition Table
2,Assecc Seq
3,Condition Type
4,Procedure
5,Condition Record.
Check all the settings in this Output determination
use T.code VV11 to create condition record.(for automatic Output determination in sales order)
use Mail output type then enter
Give the Sales Org, Customer, and save it.
In VA01 go to Menu bar- Extras-Output -Header or Item- Edit( maintain manual output type) or Print preview(to see the Preview).
