Hi,

how can I create a "search exit" for matnr (Materialnumber) whereby I could e.g. restrict.

Show only Matnr where begins with the number 1 .

hi in the selection method give a database view name..

During the process of creating the database view, in the selection criteria (operand LIKE) of the view select pattern and give 1% and use that view as the selection method in the search help.

    Moved to the correct forum.

This is a very basic question. You should start by looking at the selection conditions of some standard SAP search help views..

Don't know whether you will be able to restrict your search help, but this is sure, you will be restricted from this site 😊 . Best of luck.
