Hi All,
I am in the process of cleaning the planed order data for a material. I see some old planned orders in PLAF. I tried to delete these planned orders using MD16 but i couldn;t find them in MD16. i tried MDBA to delete but even in MDBA i couldn't see the planned orders.
Can you please let me know how do i delete these planned orders which are only seen in PLAF?
I have gone through most of the threads posted for deleting the planned orders, but that didn't solve my issue.
Kindly let me know.
Thanks
Vithal
Vithal,
Can you check whether you are able to see the Planned orders in MD12? If so check whether it is of Order Type PE?
If you can find this orders in MD12, then directly delete it from there...

Hi
Thank you for the reply. We can delete the planned orders using MD12.
It is not possible to delete 3000 planned orders using MD12. Can you please let me know if there is a way to delete them in mass/collectively.That is the reason why we were using MD16/MDBA, but the planned orders are not seen there.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Vithal
Vithal,
What is the planned order - Order type? Is REM being used in your client?
Please also let me know the source of demand for this Planned orders? Are there existing demand for these planned orders? If so please delete the PIR and then run MRP, MRP should automatically delete these Planned orders.

Hi
There are 3 order types that i could see. NB,LA and VP. These are very old orders created way back in 2006 and 2007. I am not sure about the demand due to which they were created. I don't see any demand in MD04. I did try running the MRP with the planning mode option as 3 (delete and recreate planning data) but that was of no use.
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks
Vithal
Hi Vithal,
If you ran MRP/plnngmode 3, and the process did not delete and recreate the planned orders (eg, new order numbers), then MRP is ignoring these parts. Do you have an MRP type that is planning relevant, eg P, or M, or V*? If they are ND (no planning), MRP won't delete them.
If you can delete these using MD12, then you can mass delete using LSMW or SCAT. A bit of work to set up, but easier than hand-deleting one by one. However, you should first find out if MRP is going to recreate these orders before you spend too much time on it.
