Find debit and credit memos created without reference

Could you please tell the easy way to find out credit memos and debit memos created without reference to oringinal order.

hello, friend.

try a query using table VBFA. specify the document category in both preceding (sales invoice) and subsequent documents (debit/credit memos).

this should help you.

p.s.

in this particular case, in VBFA only credit/debit memos with reference to invoices will be displayed. this can be compared to VA05.

you can serach the documents by giving the Doc. type or created ID .

Can you try VA05.

VA05 does not help. I already have a list of debit memos and credit memos. I need to segregate the ones which are created without referencing to original sales order in this list. Is there any other way ?

Santhosh - I don't think that any standard reports would full fill your requirement , What you can do is either create a Query Report , or if this report is needed daily then you can create a ABAP report which can be executed by end user also.
