Hi all,
I would like to use RF in IM environment, especially for GI and GR.
GI may involve issues to Prod orders, reservation, deliveries and other misc...
GR may involve from PO.
i would like to have the basic understanding of how to proceed.
can anyone through some light?
Thanks
Diva
Hi Reddy,
thanks for the reply.
could you please tell me what activity is required to be done from a function consultant point of view to setup this?
and also tell me how these screens can be developed and interfaced to SAP?
Thanks

Hi Diva,
Yes u can use the RF in IM also. But you need to have all custom RF developments for these. The SAP doesn't support these.
We have done for GR for Work order/Process order. The basic idea for developing these custom transactions depends on following
a) What data will be input by RF User ( Work Order, qty etc..)
b) What data to be displayed useful for RF user .... ( Material, Sloc etc... Try to design screen display with as less as possible with useful fields only...)
Hope this provides some to proceed.
Thanks
Regards
Reddy

i dont want to use HUM with RF.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Our friend who has given link for reference with reference to your question does not reveal details how we can use Rf for GI or GR as mentioned by you in IM.
If you want to use RF for GR & GI then as per my knowledge it is possible only in WM environment. Either we can use standard transaction or we can develop the same.
Transactions used are all LM transactions.

Hi,
It seems to be possible. Please check following link from other forum:
