Diff. between Enhan. Pac and release notes

Hi,

I am confused to differentiate between release notes and enhancement package. In release notes we see the new functionalities which are offered for ECC 5.0 or 6.0. And in Enhancement package we do also talk about the new functionalities which can be activated in ECC 5.0 or 6.0.

R both documents same?
