Diff. between Enhan. Pac and release notes

Hi,

I am confused to differentiate between release notes and enhancement package. In release notes we see the new functionalities which are offered for ECC 5.0 or 6.0. And in Enhancement package we do also talk about the new functionalities which can be activated in ECC 5.0 or 6.0.

R both documents same?

Hi,

Both SAP Enhancement Package and release has new features. You dont have to wait for long time to get new features. So SAP has decided to deliver new features using Enhp and the customer can deploy it selectively based on their requirements. It is not mandatory to deploy all new features.
