Adding "time - key date" maintenance package to existing maintenance strategy

I have existing maintenance strategy with "Time - key date" as scheduling indicator with following cycles:

  • 1 WK - Weekly maintenance
  • 52 WK - Yearly maintenance
  • 156 WK - Every 3 years maintenance

Weekly orders we get from this strategy must and always fall on Monday. Now I want to add new 4 WK - Monthly maintenance package, but the error I get is "The cycle length must be one month or a multiple of one month". How come the existing packages were created if "week" as a cycle length is not allowed? I don't want to create 1 MON packages as I will get duplicate orders in some cases (4x1 WK and 1 MON) since WK and MON may fall on different dates.

If the Unit is WK, actually this error should not come.

In SAP Week is 7 Days, Month - 30 days and Year - 365 days.

I hope the 2 days gap should be your problem. I prefer for the Equipments falls on 30 days, you need to make a new strategy and new maintenance plans.
