large number (strange) in query result

Hi experts,

We have installed BW 3.5 and BW 7.0 (Support Package 5).

I have executed a query with user1 and the result is OK. For example, AMOUNT = 5000 EUR

I execute the same query in the same machine with user2, and the result is very strange. There is a large number:

562.248.000.211.021.235 EUR

The macros are available.

It has the low security.

Has someone any idea?

Do a Save as on this query, remove all the Authorization variables, Then let both users run this query, even after this if they continue to see different results,

Check if they have set up the users same way.

1. Log in to BW System

2. User Profile-> Own Data

3. Select the tab ->Defaults

4. See if they have same Decimal Notation and other factors.

Hope this helps.

Hi Marc,

Looks like the authorization of the two users may not be the same.

Presuming the selections entered by them are the same .

You can check the authorization of the two users for the authorization relevant infoobjects in RSSM.

Hope it helps,

Best regards,

Sunmit.

I checked the object autoritzation ...

We have only one autorization object in the Multiprovider (not autorit.variables in query). And both of them have it right.

It could be a Microsoft Excel problem? But it strange because the users executed it in the same machine!

Thanks

Are you using any authorization variable in the query?
