asset accounting problem

hi

i had created group asset then i created normal asset as01

in the create asset initial screen

in depreciation area tab

i double click on tax balance sheet 15

i want assign group asset number there but field is in display mode

how can i open

SPRO - Financial Accounting (New) - Asset Accounting - Master Data - Screen Layout - Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data

Check the screen layout for Depreciation area and here against 'Group asset' field ensure the tick is against MnNo. and Sbno. and not against Class

Please check the field status of field group name *Group Asset* is suppressed in screnn layout rule 2000. For this only, the field is greyed out in depreciation area 15 for the asset master. make the field status either required or optional.

Hi ,

For that go to OAYZ and you have to remove the deactivate flag check box at which dep area line item is in display mode in asset master .There give layout 2000

Hi Chinna,

Check the settings at Assignment of accounts for automatic postings AO90

There select account determination and select depreciation floder and double click the book depreciation line item there check did you give the account determination or not.
